Stone extraction balloons

MD craft offers three kinds of stone extraction balloons:
1) Triple lumen catheter with contrast medium application above the balloon,
2) Triple lumen catheter with contrast medium application below the balloon and
3) Instaview, double lumen quick valve balloon catheter.

The advantage to use a catheter with contrast medium application below the balloon is in visualizing under fluoroscopy stones during the process of extraction and help define distal bile duct anatomy.

A package includes a set of three syringes for predefined inflation diameters of 9 mm, 12 mm and 15 mm.

The patented Instaview series balloon catheter includes a one-handed quick valve adapter at its proximal end. This allows for quick and easy contrast injection when there is a guide wire in the catheter lumen.

In addition, the Instaview offers a common and wider lumen for guide wire and contrast when compared to standard three-lumen devices. Thus, when injecting the viscous contrast medium, you will not encounter any resistance and you can easily advance or retract the guide.

MD Craft also uses this technology in lithotriptor baskets, ERCP cannulae and some kinds of sphincterotomes.
